Born in Philadelphia, PA, Holly Robinson Peete was starring in television shows by the age of six. And not just any shows. Her first appearance was on none other than the very first episode of Sesame Street! Over the next thirty-five years, she became well known as a TV star, Hallmark TV movie star, and CBS talk show co-host.

During that time, she also demonstrated her talents as a singer, recording songs for several movies and TV shows. And in 2006, she became an award-winning author. Holly is married to former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete with whom she co-founded the HollyRod Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports families with Parkinson’s disease and autism.
